In France the third Alzheimer's plan 2008-2012 was announced by the president Sarkosy on February 1st, 2008. He emphasizes the need of coordination of patient's care and caregiver support, with specialisation in Alzheimer's care for professionals, the need of specific structures dedicated to young patients and the need of coordination in research.
