Why eLearning
The objective of the HCNV Training is to enable you to detect problems that might indicate Alzheimer's disease and similar illnesses.
Of course, making a diagnosis requires a medical training, but you can easily acquire the necessary skills to identify and refer elderly people to the local GP if you have detected alarming early signs.
Your learning pathway will be made up from the following modules:
- An initial test to see how much you already know on the subject.
- Module 1 "Reasons for and Advantages of detecting the disease", talks about the advantages for elderly people as well as their family circle and yourselves, in detecting the disease.
- Module 2 "Knowledge and Understanding the disease", helps you to know and understand better the signs leading to Alzheimer's disease and related illnesses.
- Module 3 "Confirming your suspicion of the disease" gives you the necessary tools for detecting the disease.
- Module 4 "How to act" explains how to respond when you are suspicious that the disease may be present.
- Finally, a short test on the knowledge you have acquired.
During your learning path, you will have access to an electronic forum, organized and run by experts, in which you will be invited to participate.
You can follow the learning pathway in two ways:
- Linearly, following the modules in order of presentation, one after the other.
- In a personalized way, where you can study the modules in the order you wish.
