Innovation

Philosophy of the HCNV project:

Our aim is to modify the mental representation of the disease in order to apprehend it in a much conscious and positive way because much of functions can be maintained if tracking is early. Another issue is to approach the disease in a systemic way (patient, social worker, nurse, carer, home-care, family) to better understand the disease and to modify the imaginary related to this disease: this approach will make it possible to know better the rules, gestures and precautions towards the patient in order to decrease the suffering and to improve the quality of life of patients and relatives.

Innovative pedagogical method:

The integration of ICT in the pedagogical actions will concentrate on the performance: rich concept of virtual university for social protection and care integrating dedicated tools (collaborative work, virtual reality, on-demand contents, best practises .) with acceleration tools and accompaniment to change.

Life long learning approach:

  • ICT-based tools will enable the creation of a virtual community about health and education. This network of excellence will update and share resources, knowledge and practices with possibilities of self-assessment. An expert collaborative portal will ensure the sustainability.
  • Both access to the knowledge about AD through eLearning courses and the potential matching of the existing answers between the more advanced countries and those who need tools and knowledge will contribute to the reduction of the digital gap and equality of chances.
